10/10「大埔燕鷗愛護日」暨海岸清潔 Aug. 16 2008

Carmen invited us to join this campaign. We also joined this campaign in 2005.
We visited the Terns(燕鷗), Tap Mum (塔門) and the food shop again. This time also give us a good memory but unfortunately, I forgot to recharge one of the camera battery, so the batteries are exhausted when I was onshore. I reused the batteries again and again until the camera could not be switched on.
Have you met lots of Tern or swallows fliyng after the boat? I saw it yesterday when we were going back to Wu Kai Sha form Tap Mun. They were quite near the boat , twenty to thirty feet away from us but I could not take a hard copy of memory of them.
The location is at Tolo Channel near Ma On Shan, the time is around 16:00, date is August 16 2008. The expert says that the Terns eat the frightened fishes after the boat.
I cannot take these photos again as the ferry does not run at that moment - around 16:00.
Fei did take some Terns flying after the boat. He accepts to send me some. I hope that I can share with you all this great scene. After seeing such attractive scene, I cannot stop myself to own a SLR cammera equipped with Tele Zoom Lens.
