My little garden Vol 5 2.1

Today I pick Shanghai Cabbage and Lettuce in total weight 20 oz/0.568 kg. Since they are organic vegetables, the texture and the taste are very good, they are sweet and soft too.

Take photos - Central, H.K. at night + See the film -Confession of pain

On Wednesday, 10/1/2007, all these photos were taken before we had dinner and saw the film - Confession of Pain, starring Leung Chiu Wai and Kam Shing Mo. It is a revenged film.
Could you tell me the status of the guy who frightens  Leung Chiu Wai's wife?
Our seats are D12, D13, in House 1 at Broadway cinema in Palace IFC. Both us felt the film's sound is louder, we have to insert a small tissue ball into each ear.
My wife always tell me that my ears are not sensitive as I always speak so loud  therefore my neighbour has asked me to lower voice level.
Could it be most of the people in House 1 having something wrong with their ears?
Please tell me what you feel, if you have been to there.

Japan 22/1/2006

Since the big snow storm appeared in Narita Airport area in Tokyo, Japan on 21/1/2006, our plane ANA landed at Haneda Airport, Tokyo at first. After waiting one hour, It  flew back to Narita Airport and landed . We sat inside the plane which queued up and moved around the main airport building. After riding one hour and thirty minutes merry -go-round, we  reached the immigration counter at last.
After check-in in Sun Shine City Prince Hotel (Itkebukuro ), We went to the 24hrs Seiyu Supermarket. It takes five minutes walk  from hotel. All foods  in the attached photos are our favourites.
We can buy those unexpensive foods  here. for instance, 187 Yen for one Kowai plain yogurt. It is delicious. In Hong Kong, It costs HK$ 26 for one with 200g in Uny department store.
The strawberry is not so sweet at this time but the aroma is ok. I think,  it is not fully ripe.
We have tasted it in Japan. It is sweet, soft - melting inside the mouth and the strong aroma that you cannot find in Hong Kong. It costed 500 Yen for a pack in Hokkaido.

Summary:
1 Kowai plain yogurt    (~ 400g)                                                                                  187 Yen
2 Strawberry   (1 pack) - pack size is similar to that found in Uny(HK)          397 Yen
3 Asahi grain+fruit breakfast - 3 pieces x 6 packs(180g in total)                     280 Yen
Currency Exchange rate: 100 Yen = HK$6.8

Miss you - beauty of sky

On Monday afternoon, 1/1/2007, when we saw the clear sky, we decided to have a walk from Central, Hong Kong Island to the Peak (Victoria Peak) and went down hill to Chi Fu Fa Yuen. Beautiful cloudy and marvellous sunset go into our eyes. We miss you for a long time. We cannot see the beauty of sky easily in recent years.
Summary:
Starts from
Queen’s Road Central (near Cochrane Street ) - - by escalator 15 min.. - - Conduit Roadwalk ~3min. - - Hornset Road - - walk ~10min. - - Old Peak Roadwalk 20 – 30 min. The Peak - - walk along the Pokfulam reservoir Road 45- 60 min. - - Chi fu Fa Yuen (residential buildings)
There is a mall in the Peak. It is full of souvenir shops, supermarket, Mcdonald and various restaurants. On top of Ling Siu Kok is the excellent spot for viewing the Victoria city , the Victoria harbour and Kowloon peninsula. The night view of Hong Kong is one of the best three views in the world.
