黄金崎不老ふ死温泉
In October 2004, we stayed two nights in Moya Youth Hostel in Aomori, The host/cooker recommended us to visit Burofusi onsen (黄金崎不老ふ死温泉)(outdoor) but It was the last stop in Tohoku as we had to return to Tokyo and go back home-Hong Kong.
I have seen its beautiful sunset scenery on travelling booklet therefore I always remind myself - do not forget it, do not forget it. That is why we have to go there in 2006.
We stayed two nights in Toyoko Inn ( http://www.toyoko-inn.com/china/ ) in Akita. It was a 5 minutes walk from Akita train station. Toyoko Inn is always our first choice in other Japan cities, not far away from the train station, clean, free rice food breakfast (optional). Especially you have a heavy backpack and need to catch an early train, you will not think of others.
Since Burofusi is far away from Akita ( http://www.jreast.co.jp/index.html ), It is not the best choice to return to Akita after the visit .We should go on to see much more new scenery on the train.
I tell you why we stayed one more night in Akita as our next stop was Turunoyu(鶴の湯温泉) ( another beautiful onsen. ) - ( http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/jw!qO8dQOiREQWuEoB9GgWFAD6xIA--/article?mid=1561&prev=1568 ) It is near Tazawako JR train station (田沢湖駅) which is 60 minutes away from Akita train station (秋田駅) by shinkansen Akita line.
Now I start to tell you the Burofusi onsen journey. we had a two parts breakfast, free of charge rice food with assorted salty vegetables/sesame (you see it in my photo album) in Hotel, the second part was on the train to Higashinoshiro from Akita, an apple and breakfast cereal with milk (brought from the supermarket in Yamagata last night). We changed the train at Higashinoshiro train station(東能代駅), and got off at Henasi train station(艫作駅). There was a free pick-up from here to Burofusi Hotel. After approximately 5 minutes, There was a clean looking and high hotel by the side of the seashore. The onsen pool was just in front of the hotel, facing to the calm sea.
Yes, I could imagine that we could sit in the pool, seeing the sun gradually sinking down below the horizon. The sky was full of different orange colours and silhouetted clouds. The sunlight was fading out slowly and so many stars came out like a black blanket covered with numerous crystals sparkling in front of our eyes.
At night, we could chat with our friends by the side of the pool . At a suitable time, for instance, two hours after dinner, we could bury ourselves into the pool again. If the body was too hot, we could walk out of the pool and stood up in the dark to cool down for 5 minutes. It was enjoyable but for the goodness to our health, we could not repeat so many times.
Although above two paragraphs are my imagination, I think that the actual result is not far from it as I have these similar experience.
I saw the star scenery at the first time when it was my first wild camping in "Wang Ling ", by the side of Plover Cove Reservoir near Tai Po District, Hong Kong, listening to insects’ whispering, smelling grass's aroma and thinking anything I like.
Ok, going back to how I enjoy in Burofusi onsen.
