十四年才能修成正果(a worm turns into a moth in 14 years time)

In Artic circle, In winter, the temperature is under -70 celcius. a lamp moth worm needs 14 years time to go into cocoon and to be a moth.
In winter, the worm is frozen.
In summer, It is only a few weeks time. the worm wakes up and take food-leaves.
It needs 14 years time to take enough food/energy to become a cocoon.
In the 14th year, It becomes an cocoon and a moth, and then mating.
Afer watching this episode- "Frozen Planet, The Epic Journey" from Pearl Channel, last night,

I think, ...
The worm can succeed to become a moth in such tough environment.

Why do we-human being not do our best to have a better life in future, physically and mentally?在北極圈的冬季，溫度只有攝氏零下70度。一隻燈蛾蠕蟲需要14年的時間去變繭和飛蛾。

在冬季，蠕蟲被凍結。

在夏季，這是只有幾個星期的時間。該蠕蟲醒來進食葉子。

它需要在14年的時間裡採取足夠的食物/資成為一個繭。

在14年中，它變成了繭和蛾，然後交配。

Afer看這個情節，“冰凍星球，史詩般的旅程”我認為，...

該蠕蟲可以成功，成為蛾在這樣艱難的環境中。

------ ****** ------- " This was a TV program on BBC 4 last night. It's very interesting and shows how decay becomes new life. It's 90 minutes so you need some time to watch it but right at the end in the last 10 minutes they show how a new plant has taken up the cells of a dead plant.

This is a rebirth that I can believe in.

時看到肢離破碎的大體,除了默唸祈禱之外,
我們實在無能為力再幫他或她做些什麼?

用三角巾覆蓋他的面容,
剩餘的部份緩緩塞在他的頭下,
再用薄被蓋上全身,

送往醫院的途中,
黑暗的車廂內,只有燈光漸次閃爍著,
我習慣用手握著患者,那怕他逐漸僵硬,
暗黑色的血液四下溢流成河,在低溫中變成粥狀,

到達醫院後,擔任急區職班的醫護與我們換手接過患者,
看到慘狀也只能搖頭,"這要怎麼急救?"
"家屬正在趕來途中!"
一,二,三,協力把他移床後,
醫護們拉起布籬再次確認生命徵象,

而我們佇在外頭急著把擔架站立起來,把自來水開到最大,
操著地板刷用力刷洗著那些仍有餘溫的血液,
當最後一絲鮮血沿著槽緣流入黑暗下水道的那一刻,
也許他的家屬們正心慌焦急的趕來醫院途中,想見家人最後一面,
而我們卻急於離開醫院,準備去接送下一位客人.
腦海中儘是臟器外露,四肢扭轉的影像.........
回到分隊待命,才填完救護記錄表,一杯熱茶都沒有喝完,又是救護,支援鹽水,

91車一路嗚笛,差一點在路口和不讓道的白目駕駛對撞,
大家心中都在罵髒話.

頂著東北風在荒涼漆黑的小村莊裡,找尋"某里"五號,
時間急迫遍尋不著,小小一整個村的狗都在吠著,
最後還是好奇的阿公們出來探看,才跟我們講了方位......

這是一位小姐的急病救護,
她不發一語的蹲著暗暗路邊牆角,什麼話都不講,
先扶上擔架,問要去那一間醫院?

上車後,再次詢問身體那裡不適?
隔了好一會兒
她才緩緩伸出她的左手腕,被一條絲巾緊緊繞著一圈又一圈,
啊~
趕緊取出紗布及生理食鹽水,解開絲巾,

腕上是一道驚心的橫向傷口,深可見骨,

皮肉翻開露出白色的皮下組織.下一秒鮮血崩流,
一下子就紅了紗布,直接加壓止血,

她右手擱放在頭上,雙眼痛苦緊閉.偶爾張開看我一下.
陣陣酒味飄來.她說想吐,就讓她半坐臥著,
跟她講:"下一次不要再這樣了,關心她的人會難過",

她把頭一別,轉向暗處輕輕的說"沒有人會關心我....."

"酒一喝,刀子割下去,看血流那麼多,才覺得自己做錯了....."

我輕輕拍著她的肩膀,不敢問她等一會有沒有家屬會來?

只能跟她講:"下一次真的不要再這樣了"到了醫院.交給急診室處理傷口.
走出大門,嘆了一口氣.

手腕上的傷口可以縫合,心理的傷,有誰可以急救?
帥帥的警消走了過來,我跟他講,:她也許需要您的關心......
他卻嚇得高舉雙手投降.

消防隊猛男可不是萬能的啊!!!!!

Gelada baboons(獅狒)

Few days ago, I watched a TV programme which is telling us the Gelada Baboons' living.
Where they live is a beautiful place - Simien Mountain.
前幾天，我看了一個電視節目，關於非洲,埃塞俄比亞,塞米恩山嶺的獅狒生活.
這裡的山嶺景色非常美麗.
