Nikon Coolpix 8700's malfunction

Since I bought it in October 2004. This , my good friend, help me to record so many affairs.
The frist malfunction is the servo motor of the lens in Mar 2006.
The second malfunction is on/off switch in May 18 2008.
I like it's performance. I will let it be my friend forever. I will let it recover soon while it is malfunction again within another four years. After that, it will be an old man. I should not let him too busy with work.
