It is the site of the " Community Garden Scheme " organized by Leisure and Cultural Services Department Hong Kong.
There are 50 pieces of areas in Braemar Hill for us to plant different types of vegetables in four months. each dimension is 1.5m x 1.5m.
There is a gardener staying here from Monday to Saturday to water each field twice per day. There is a 1.5 hours course on every Sunday morning.
This Scheme appears in some districts in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories, such as Aberdeen, Central and Western, North Point and Wanchai district in Hong Kong Island.
It started on 10th December 2006. We did digging and placed fertilizer. The fertilizer is Bone meal and Peanut cake in 1:2 ratio at the first beginning.
