茴香(fennel) Jan. 2012

I took these photos at Bowrington Road Market North Block(鵝頸街市(北座))-Man Kee Vegetable(文記菜檔)which is near Times Square, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island.
Can it be grown in Hong Kong?

    I grew mint once and this is easy and rewarding.

      I grew rosemary twice but it was not successful. I grew it indoor. The root got rotten and spread to the leaves.

    Of course it can be grown in Hong Kong ^^ However, it takes quite a long time to grow and it's not valuable as the rent in HK is super-high !

      Hiker, I haven't tasted it but I saw it before in a farm (in Fanling). Knowing that it takes quite a long time to grow and I think that's the reason why it's not popular in HK !
