How to go to Po Lam Monastery (如何去寶林禪寺)? Mar. 2012

23 東涌市中心 <> 昂坪 : 經東涌炮台，東涌道，長沙，塘福，石壁，水口，寶蓮寺

There are three ways to Po Lam :
1) Tung Chung MTR --->; by bus no. 34[~10 mins.HK$4.3]--->; Shek Mun Kap bus terminal --->; on foot(uphill)[~45 mins.] --->; Po Lam Monastery
2) Tung Chung MTR --->; by bus no.23[50 mins.HK$27] --->; Ngong Ping bus terminal --->; on foot(flat)[~10-15 mins] --->; Tung Shan Fat Mun/東山法門 --->; on foot(downhill) [15 mins. ] --->; Po Lam Monastery
3) Tung Chung MTR --->; by taxi in blue colour near MTR D exit[30 mins.HK$168] --->; Tung Shan Fat Mun/東山法門 --->; on foot(downhill) [15 mins. ] --->; Po Lam Monastery
There is one fastest way from Po Lam back to Tung Chung MTR :
Po Lam Monastery --->; on foot(downhill)[less than 45 mins.] --->; Shek Mun Kap bus terminal --->; by bus no. 34[~10 mins.HK$4.3] --->; Tung Chung MTR
If you miss the bus no. 34 at Shek Mun Kap bus terminal, you can walk 5-7 mins to Tung Chung Road to take any buses which are back to Tung Chung MTR

or you can take a taxi back to Tung Chung MTR at Shek Mun Kap bus terminal or at the junction of Shek Mun Kap road and Tung Chung Road, If you can find a taxi there.
