兔燈(rabbit lantern) Sept. 2008

This type of lantern is not so popular nowadays.
It was very popular in 50's/60's.
Aeroplane,peach, peel of fruit, such as "沙田柚" .........also appeared at that time.

I saw it on the MTR train when I returned home from the Lantern Carnival at Victoria Park, Hong Kong Island. The lady with her two daughters allowed me to take a photo on it.
