十四年才能修成正果(a worm turns into a moth in 14 years time)

In Artic circle, In winter, the temperature is under -70 celcius. a lamp moth worm needs 14 years time to go into cocoon and to be a moth.

In winter, the worm is frozen.

In summer, It is only a few weeks time. the worm wakes up and take food-leaves.

It needs 14 years time to take enough food/energy to become a cocoon.

In the 14th year, It becomes an cocoon and a moth, and then mating.

The worm can succeed to become a moth in such tough environment.

Why do we-human being not do our best to have a better life in future, physically and mentally?
在北極圈的冬季，溫度只有攝氏零下70度。一隻燈蛾蠕蟲需要14年的時間去變繭和飛蛾。

在冬季，蠕蟲被凍結。
