a village head's (村長) house. Why it is his house? only his house has two columns at the front entrance.
a house only has one column
baby bed (front), the strings let the baby feel comfortable after wetting the bed.
water vase(back), women carry it to get water from the source far far away from the village
Three poles lying in front of a house. What does it mean? The number of poles lowered to the ground indicates the condition of the house,.....no one at home, only children at home, the host left home for a few days. They also tell us whether there is a widow or 喪妻 inside the house. The interpreter at here tells us we seldom see the sign of a 喪妻 as the number of lady/girl is greater than man. I forget which is which as I still have a wife.
